At St Joseph's College, we aim to give all pupils body confidence and illustrate the power of kinetic communication

Actions speak louder than words; We want to give all pupils an opportunity for creative and holistic self expression.

We wish to foster both a sense of individuality and of community interdependence. We also aim to introduce pupils to the wide variety of dance & movement forms and traditions, (mime, ballroom, ballet, folk & ethnic, jazz & modern).

Dance is specifically timetabled within the curriculum for Years 7-9.
