Pupils shine in Annie
Pupils shine in Annie

On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd December, pupils from St Joseph’s staged a production of the well-loved musical ‘Annie’ in the hall at the College. Over three packed nights, including a sell out on the Friday, audiences enjoyed performances which included such well-known songs as ‘Tomorrow’ and ‘It’s a Hard Knock Life’.

Mrs Evans, Head of English and Drama, said: “Pupils from every year group between 8 and 13 have made a tremendous effort to put on this demanding and lively production. I am delighted that everyone has worked so hard throughout the term to make Annie a success and truly entertaining for our audiences. Pupils in years 10, 12 and 13 provided the technical and stage management support that is so valuable for the success of a production like this.”
