Year 7 Castle History Awards

After learning about the Norman Conquest in 1066 and discovering that William the Conqueror used castles as a way of keeping control of his new English subjects, Year 7 were tasked with designing and building or designing and planning their own castle.

 A great deal of thought and effort were put into the final models and the History Department had a difficult time deciding the winners. 

However, the final winners for the model making category were:

From 7N    1st - Rachel Myles, 2nd - Daisy Wilson, 3rd - Sophie Rainbow

From 7L    1st - Fiona Harris, 2nd - Sally Kunzig, 3rd -Hasting Riley

1st - Clara Fidler-Brown, 2nd - Callum Forbutt, 3rd - Daniel Harrington
