Short Story Week Competition
Short Story Week Competition

In November, children in Year 7 entered the national Short Story Week Competition; well we’ve have had some excellent news this week.  Clara Fiddler Brown is a runner up in the Year 7 Girls category of the National Short Story Week Young Writer competition! Her story will appear in an anthology of winners and runners up, which will be published as a free e-book later this year.

Overall, the standard of the entries from our school was very high and the Director of the competition, Ian Skillicorn, said, “We'd like to thank all the students who took part.”

All staff would like to offer their warmest congratulations to Clara; we are all very proud of her achievement.
