Raising Money and Having Fun!
Raising Money and Having Fun!

St Joseph’s College Preparatory School has once again excelled in their fund raising efforts. In aid of CAFOD the School has hosted two very well supported events to raise a total of £950. On 1st October, Year 5 held a Harvest Festival assembly followed by a cake sale, games and stalls organised by all the Year 5 pupils and Teacher, Mrs Fleming. On 5th October, the whole School took part in a sponsored run, organised by PE Teacher, Mrs Bott and in aid of CAFOD’s ‘Put Your Heart into Running’ campaign. All the children and some staff ran around the School field, with the youngest pupils completing one circuit and then each Year group increasing the number of circuits with Year 6 running around the field 5 or 6 times each. Collectively the distance ran by everyone equated to one and half marathons ! Well done to everyone involved.
