The Head meets with the School Council half-termly, it is an opportunity for the pupils to voice ideas that often influence policies or practices throughout the College.

The School Council consists of pupils elected by their year group to represent them in all aspects of pupil life within the College. Each meeting is chaired by the Head Pupils and discussions and brain storming sessions very often result in some creative new ideas for the College.

In a recent meetings, as part of the annual review of the anti-bullying policy, the pupils came up with the practical idea of organising and running a lunchtime club to enable younger pupils to come along and discuss any problems they might have in an informal way.  This support mechanism is in addition to the pastoral support already available within the school.  Sixth Form pupils run the club entitled ‘The Talking and Listening Club’.
