Pupils in Year 12 at St Joseph's get involved in the Young Enterprise Company Programme
'The Young Enterprise Company Programme provides young adults with the opportunity to set up their own companies, selling their own products at their own prices, with the aim of making a profit at the end of the year.'
St Joseph's College pupils are involved in this initiative each year through local Companies and Business volunteers who work in conjunction with teachers to support the pupils. Pupils actively engage in business activities involving the selling and marketing of a selected product including writing a business plan and raising finance to run ther business. Pupils attend trade fairs and experience the day to day highs and lows of running a company.
