We expect all boys to take part in team sports and have found the 'all for one' spirit has built strong relationships among pupils.

Football is one of the mainstays of the boys' curriculum, with lessons, coaching and after school sessions available to all boys. Players have access to the school's AstroTurf and grass pitches, and our Under 13 and Under 15 football teams compete in matches across Reading throughout the season.

All boys in Years 7-9 take rugby lessons as part of the PE curriculum. St Joseph's rugby team competes in the Reading Schools' Junior Rugby Tournament, where the boys have scored a number of victories.
